Northern Pacific Rainer Club

Acting as both a Sleeper and Observation car, Northern Pacific No. 390, Nicknamed Rainer Club, was built in 1948 for the Northern Pacific's North Coast Limited, which operated between Chicago, Minneapolis and St. Paul, and Seattle and Portland. The North Coast Limited Route ran until 1967 when the service was retired. 3 years later, the Rainer Club car was sold to Carroll Mattlin, who later donated the car to the Lake Superior railroad museum.
