Mayhem in Newark

MONARCH REPORT: "Cloverfield" was another kaiju that woke up after Ghidorah defeated Godzilla at Isla De Mara. It is believed that "Cloverfield" was part of a species of Kaiju that were the tallest Kaiju on planet earth. After King Ghidorah arrived to earth, it is believed that Cloverfield's species joined the destroyer Kaiju faction, which resulted in most of their species dying out during the great Kaiju War. It is unknown when this Kaiju was born, but in 2008, it was found hibernating just off the East Coast. Even in hibernation, it was consuming a deep sea nectar ingredient for a popular drink company named Slusho. This nectar ingredient seemed to have contributed to it's growth as scientits have determined that it would have taken much longer for the kaiju to grow to the size it was at. Both Monarch and the company that owned Slusho, built a research station disguised as an oil rig. However, in late May of 2019, the Kaiju was awoken by King Ghidorah's Alpha call. Upon waking up, the kaiju immediately attacked the research station and destroyed it. After telepathically receiving orders from Ghidorah, "Cloverfield" began to make his way towards Newark, Delaware. Although the city was alerted in advanced, by the time evacuations began, the Kaiju had already arrived. Forces from the United States Army, The National Guard, and the New Republic desperately tried to defend the city, while evacuations were still taking place. Then-current United States President Donald Trump was planning to launch a nuclear warhead at Newark, after the ORCA temporarily pacified "Cloverfield". However, before authorization was given, King Ghidorah was defeated and killed by Godzilla. Sensing his leader was gone again, "Cloverfield" left the city of Newark. The attack on Newark left approximately 12,000 people dead. "Cloverfield's" current location is still unknown, but it is believed he is hiding somewhere in the Atlantic ocean. 

CLOSING NOTES: Recently, researchers have made the disturbing discovery that "Cloverfield" is only an infant. It is unknown when "Cloverfield" will fully grow into an adult, but if it does, it will be highly unlikely the kaiju would be neutralized. Two eggs have also been discovered in the Atlantic Ocean. Both of them did contain hatchlings of "Cloverfield's" species, but when the eggs were found, the eggs had already hatched. It is believed that Ghidorah's alpha call caused the hatchlings to hatch from their eggs. It is unknown where the hatchlings are, but they must be captured as soon as possible. And for the greater good of Humanity, "Cloverfield" must be terminated before it can grow any larger. Plans are made that once Project: Moguera is completed, it will be sent out to find and terminate "Cloverfield".
