Description
"An absolute slaughter was taking place on the beach. We were outgunned, but not outmanned. But we HAD to take Omaha beach. The fate of the planet may as well depend on it".
On the morning of June 6th, 1944, Operation Overlord began. Soldiers of the Allied forces, Rebel alliance, and Republic Remnant would storm the beaches of Normandy, France. The Rebels, and Republic landed their forces first to give the Allied soldiers a better chance of making it to the beaches. When the landing craft carrying Drift and Captain Miller and his men, things were already just as bad as Drift feared. There were many bodies of Rebels and Clones scattered across the beach. One AT-TE was already destroyed after it got shelled relentlessly. When the doors to the landing craft opened, Drift was shot several times, but his armor protected him. Reinforcements were already on the way, but they were mainly coming from Mevenn's Venator, and it would run out of reinforcements eventually. The longest day had begun.
This scenario of my alternate History timeline is dedicated to the 10,000-210,000 allied soldiers who gave their lives on this day 78 years ago, standing up to an evil that threated to consume the entire planet. May they rest in peace, and may their sacrifices never be forgotten.
