Great Northern No. 454-A

Built in 1950, it is one of the few remaining Great Northern cab units. The engine was built for freight service and even served the Burlington Northern. But as the more modern Diesels began to emerge, the older ones became obsolete. Luckily this unit was spared from the cutter's torch, and is undergoing restoration at the Jackson Street Roundhouse
