As Melony and Jek-14 dueled in the Great Temple on Yavin IV, Imperial Clone troopers were tracking down both Melony and Jek-14. Occasionally, Melony and Jek-14 would run into some clone troopers. Jek-14 showed no mercy to the clones, while Melony tried to save some of them, even though she knew her Clone Troopers had turned on her earlier (As Order 66 dropped). When Jek-14 noticed Melony tried to stop him from killing her men, he yelled at her, "You know Damn well that they are trying to kill you, and yet you still care for them?!" Melony replied with, "Even though they have turned on me, I still feel like that they can be turned back!" "Your attempts will be for nothing Melony, they have been bred to follow all orders without question!" "You are a clone yourself, aren't you?!" "I don't consider these clones to be my 'Brothers'. They were pawns in our game the whole time, just like you". This only fueled Melony's rage, but she couldn't give into her anger and hatred like Niles did. Both of them (Still fighting) entered the hangar where Jek-14's Starfighter was, and where Captain Cota and many Clone Troopers awaited them. Cota was originally planning to order his men to gun down both Melony and Jek-14, but he figured that would lead to more dead men. So Cota ordered his men to halt, and told his men "Let them have their fight. We will execute who comes out victorious". So Cota and his men could only watch as the Light Side force user and Sith Enhanced Clone dueled in front of them.
