Battle over Omaha Beach

"While the Battle on the shores were raging, the sky was filled with blaster fire, gunfire, and explosions. While the allied forces weren't the best at fighting the Empire on the ground, they exceled in the cockpit of their fighter planes. I remember seeing an American fighter plane shoot down a TIE fighter after said fighter went in for a strafing run against us on the shoreline and taking some of us out. To this day I never got to meet the pilot and I don't know what happened to him."

The sacrifice made by the Allied forces on this day 81 years ago will never be forgotten. The battle against fascism is still not yet over, we will keep fighting so those who died storming the beaches of Normandy did not die in vain.
