A slayer's awakening

After killing the Galdiator's team and seemingly killing the Gladiator itself, Doomguy broke into the port of the Abandoned droid control ship where he was met with Battle droids and Demons. Even though their numbers seemed endless Doomguy pushed through, and eventually finding the Vox's hell portal. After slaughtering the demons guarding the portal, Doomguy thought on how to disable the portal. However, his thoughts were interrupted when he felt a sharp pain in his back before being yanked away from the portal. Looking behind him was the Gladiator from before. It was still alive, and dual wielding maces. Doomguy tried to fight off the Gladiator, but the Gladiator persisted. Knocking away some of Doomguy's weapons, it eventually overpowered Doomguy and slammed him against a wall. The Gladiator began to repeatedly strike Doomguy with its maces. After a series of relentless assaults, it raised one of its maces, ready to finish Doomguy off.

Doomguy didn't know how to feel. He was this close to shutting down the portal. He had gone through waves of droids and demons, essentially a one-man army. Yet here he was. About to die at the hands of a gladiator demon. Doomguy knew he was always driven by his hatred of demons... or was it something else?

Doomguy put his arms out and braces for the end, but it never comes. He opens his eyes to see the Gladiator being thrown back by an invisible force. Doomguy remembered the stories he was told about the Jedi and Sith, and their abilities. They called it the force. The slayer thought to himself if he was force sensitive. Taking advantage of these newfound abilities, Doomguy got back up. Doomguy then used the force to pick up dozens of blasters from fallen demons and droids and shoot them all at the Gladiator. The Gladiator roars in pain, giving Doomguy the opening he needed. Retrieving his crucible sword, Doomguy ran towards the Gladiator. Doomguy used the force to augment his strikes and managed to cut deep into the Gladiator's body. The Gladiator falls to the ground dead, and to make sure it stays dead. Doomguy stomps on the head of the Gladiator.

After turning away from the gory kill, Doomguy used the force to close the portal before retrieving his weapons. Doomguy then re-established comms with Clone Captain Tukk, confirming he had shut down the portal. Even though he had completed his mission, Doomguy still wanted to help out, considering he just found out he was force sensitive. Tukk would then send a U-Wing to pick Doomguy up to take him to the front lines. Tukk's forces were on their way to shut down Vox's droid factory. Even after making a discovery about himself Doomguy still knew when it came to demons, all he had to do was rip and tear until its done.
