The Hand of Thor 1

Thor is an interesting Golden Age hero. He was actually a man named Grant Farrel, whose girlfriend dumps him and he contemplates suicide. Suddenly Thor appears in front of him and grants him his power. Thor shows Grant the scope of the world. Grant spots his girlfriend in trouble. Rescues her, gets involved with some bad guys and decides to be Thor.
His costume was very simple. A helmet, cape, hammer and loincloth.
He only appeared in 5 stories. Weird Comics 1-5. In his last story Thor gives him a magic gauntlet for his right hand, although it was originally drawn as a left-hande glove.
Since Thor isn't really Thor but a representative the title Hand of Thor  seemed appropriate.
I've sketched out an interior story which answers the question where is the left gaunlet?
