Grand Slam 959

An overlooked aspect of Golden-age characters are British superheroes. British comics tried to compete with American heroes by intoducing their own versions. Most of them seemed to be versions of Captain Marvel (Shazam). Such as Miracleman, Masterman and Mr. Apollo.
So I decided to create a new group using British heroes.
So we have The Phantom Maid, (I would just call her Phantom) Mr. Apollo, The Bat, (his costume was yellow, purple and red, with his face completely covered, no eye holes) and Electric Woman (who I called Elektra).
I called the team The HomeGuard.
I added the heroes to Anglo-American comics because there was also a comic company called Anglo-American in Britain. Although unrelated to the Canadian one.
