Fantastic Adventures 642

In the 1960's I.W. Publishing reprinted assorted comics which included some old Canadian content. One of these was Thorik the Fearless, written and drawn by E.G. Letkeman. He also created Zor the Mighty.
As far as I know Thorik only appeared in one story. It tells of a viking ship sailing across the Indian Ocean and landing on the coast of Africa. Thorik and a small party set out, are attacked and separated. Thorik is captured and taken to fight in the Pharaoh's arena. There he has to face the biggest African warrior he has ever seen. And then the story ends.
So I imagine Thorik and a collection of warriors, including that huge warrior travelling across Africa and having incredible adventures.
I created a double-page spread for the cover. I still may colour it, I drew a lot of background but when I got this much done, I liked it.
