Ah yes, that's the Count - elegant, hairy and blessed with a thoroughly nasty sense of humour (I'm increasingly convinced that he's a True Jeremy Irons character; charming, but thoroughly Evil and just a little bit sleazy to boot); I'm fairly certain Count Dracula was killed by something resembling a midlife crisis quite as much as the knives of Mr Morris & Mr Harker.

Also, how hilarious is it that the man who lands more blows on Count Dracula than anyone else in the course of the original novel is JONATHAN HARKER?!? (having unsuccessful attempted to behead him with a shovel in Castle Dracula - which still left a scar for the duration of the novel - having made an unsuccessful attempt to disembowel him in London - which still robs Dracula of a great deal of spare change and, implicitly, of his hat* - and finally seals the deal by decapitating the Dracula as the latter ALMOST lives long enough to see that crucial sunset, courtesy of Quincey P. Morris quite literally pinning the old leech down).

*There may be no mental image more hilarious in all of Fiction that Count Dracula stealing someone's sub-par straw hat to keep the sun off!
