This is a test shot for the climax of Wrath Of The Amanojaku, just to see how I could do crowd compositions in ComiPo. Each group is layered, thus allowing me to create some pretty elaborate crowds. Some of the characters need to be resized, I'm not satisfied with Tenshi's rock or Remilia's spear, and as pointed out below, Remilia and Flandre are missing umbrellas, but otherwise, it should hopefully sell the scale of the final battle.
For context, the final battle has all of the cast uniting to hold off Seija from reaching the Human Village while Reimu, Marisa, and Sakuya struggle to get the Miracle Mallet from Shinmyoumaru. Defeating Seija without the Mallet's power is impossible, so it's a matter of just holding out as long as they can until Reimu and co. can defeat Shinmyoumaru. What makes this shot particularly powerful is that in the first half of the story, it paints Gensokyo as a land divided and on the verge of collapse, but when Seija's rebellion threatens Gensokyo, everyone puts aside their differences to save their land.
As of writing, currently on Chapter 7 of 10. This scene takes place in Chapter 9. We're slowly approaching the principal photography part, folks!
It says in the description: ever cluster of characters is a separate PNG image. Ever since high school, I learned of a trick of cloning small crowds into huge, HUGE crowds, and I've regularly used it to make big crowd scenes.
I would join... If I had any actual skills in visual art... If I were to submit a character, it would be Zen Tokiyomi, a clock tsukumogami with the ability to control acceleration and deceleration. She looks like a brown-haired female wearing a blue-gray shirt, gray pants, and a black tie, and has a big-ass grandfather clock floating behind her.
