Not very subtle

"You look like a girl that has good taste in flowers, and you know, I've got a very nice one right here!" Alex tucked his arms together and then, with a bit of a flourish, drew out a small blue daisy. "Would you like it?"

The Snorunt child giggled and eagerly reached out with one of her nubbin hands. Alex wagged a finger of his free paw. "Hold up though, you know you need to pay if you want it!"

The child's expression immediately drooped, but Alex had more up his sleeve for this act. "Wait a second now, what's this I see?" He reached behind her, pressing his paw ever so briefly to the straw of the Snorunt's jacket as though he were drawing something from it, and then help up a coin. "This should cover the cost quite nicely!"

The child grinned, obviously pleased and impressed. But she wasn't the only one Alex was hoping to amuse. As he handed her the flower, he couldn't help but spare a glance towards the girl's caretaker. What did she think?

I had to draw Alex and Lanette. Although I'm afraid I forgot Lanette's accessories again. I'm not even sure what she's wearing now though so... hopefully you don't mind.

I've been so excited to post this too; I think anyone that follows my Tumblr can guess when I finished it. XD It's been a hard wait, haha.
