Pearls

i was a lil disappointed that every gem of a certain type looked exactly the same i mean just look at the ruby squad exactly the same base character with slight alterations to clothing n gem placement, so to mix things up a lil bit i thought maybe the gems shape or cut would affect their physical appearance, oval or round pearls would look more or less like the pearls we've seen in show where as my teardrop pearls have a shorter stockier body but still have the long slender limbs of a regular pearl 

the small bit of back story i had for them was they were created to be more or less a perfect pearl for a quartz solider trading a normal pearls agility n speed for a more durable n stronger approach meant to accompany their owner on the battlefield, they're less valuable then our normal pearl but are far fewer in number considering they were made to fight against the rebellion without breaking homeworlds set rules for each gem type and were discontinued once the war had ended
