April EMTC - 50th + 23 Entries! + CLOSED!

Yay!  What a great turn out for the 50th! Results should be posted in the next week or so.





Holy cheeseballs.  This is the 50th EMTC I have hosted.  I never dreamed, back in Jan. of 2010, that this contest would have such a long run.  To mark the occasion, I have decided to revisit one of my favorite themes, Sparkles!  I almost went Pumpkins, but Sparkles was the 2nd theme and has special meaning to me as it was the theme when my son was born. Plus, the gallery can never have enough sparkle emotes.

This will also be the last EMTC I host.  This month marks the end of my term as CV, it is a milestone for the contest itself, and I decided it was a good time to wrap this up.  I am not going to claim this is the last one ever, this may just be a hiatus as I turn my focus to other things for a bit.  I am hoping, with the lightened responsibility load, I can focus more on actually creating.

So.  Let's go out with a bang.  A big ol' sparkly bang.  Glitter, shinies, crappy vampires if you must ....bombard me with emotes that will distract and amuse me.

Only new submissions for this.  The emote must be submitted after the theme has been announced.

You can enter as many times as you want.

Please include a brief explanation to the theme, if it isn't already completely obvious in the deviation.

Please submit your piece in the form of a .png or a .gif.

The piece must include an emoticon of some sort.  Kinda the point, really.

Collaborations are accepted, with the prize being split between the artists should it place.
