Daaaamn. I'm amazed by how tight your pencils are since you ink yourself. But awesome stuff.

thanks, Rus.  I like to work ideas out so i can go nuts in inking.

Ah, makes sense.

and the more i draw a subject consistently, the more i loosen up.  Jumping around so much is a detriment to speed, but i get bored doing the same thing too many times in a row.  I basically suck at this profession!  lol

another masterpiece mr KRUNK. I'm wondering, at what point are the publishers you work for okay with you posting work they're printing online?
Spacefriend-KRUNK's avatar
each publisher has different rules. =)

The inking of the foliage reminds me Barry Windsor-Smith. which is always a good thing. Excellent piece.

hey thanks for the detailed view! its nice to see the pencils up close. do you use pro white or some acrylic for fine interrupting lines?
Spacefriend-KRUNK's avatar
for the inks?  yes - i mix acrylic white with some white ink and use a brush.

on the pencils - if you ever see a white correction, it was most likely with a jellyroll for scanning purposes. =)
