Considering that I've started painting probably way later than I should have in my status as A Person Who Likes To Do Art, I have a loooooooong way to go before I'm satisfied, both technically and otherwise... So if there's anybody out there who paints, and who is decent at it, and has some words of advice to offer, I would be most grateful. Comments? Tips?? Anything???

So the next thing I hope to put up is a little still-life with pears I've been working on for what seems like an eternity. My problem is time... and that I don't have enough of it! I'm exploring paint more and more and growing to like it quite a lot. Mind you, I've only worked with acrylics, so there is probably an entire world of Learning/Inspiration/Insanely Frustrating Difficulties awaiting me in other media.

Hi guys... haven't been on in eons, apologies. Well, that's a lie. I've been ON... I just haven't done anything apart from skim noncommittally through new deviations and messages... I will be making a half-hearted attempt (I admit it's half-hearted, yes) to update with new deviations and whatnot. Just have been insanely busy and preoccupied. Much love :heart: Laurel
