I took this the other Night while I was waiting for the ferry back to Manhattan.

As you can see i had a long time to wait, its 3 shots in triplicate to put into an HDR i had a heck of a time getting it even this balanced and i still don't think its perfect.

Id have to check but I'm going to guess it was 50mm.

yea it was 50mm on a cropped camera so closer to 70mm on a full frame.

Great panorama. I love the sky colours and it's a composition I haven't seen before. I also love that it doesn't look like a HDR.

Just a couple of things, first is that the water belies your stitching, there are two obvious cuts where the water wasn't quite flowing the same between shots. This can be fixed either by using a longer exposure to smooth out the water, or you can use some selective blurring in post-production to smooth it over. The other thing is that the horizon is tilted slightly to the left - easily fixed!

Still a great composition and well shot!
