I once wore a costume with similar should protrusions. I wouldn't do that again.

Each time I turned or bent, I was afraid they might poke me in the eye. But that wasn't the worst part.

Thanks to the combination of Ubisoft's Prince of Persia and Wikipedia, people who had become familiar with a certain Persian epic poem kept calling me Azi Dahaka, an evil fictional ruler who had serpents growing out of his shoulders where Satan had kissed. Apparently, those protrusions were my serpents. I retorted that those serpents probably didn't threaten to poke Azi Dahaka in the eye. Boy, it escalated quickly. As it turns out, they did. To remain safe from the threat of serpents, Azi Dahaka would have to feed them. Please don't ask what.
