So, now that Inktober has ended, I have to say that enjoyed the challenge, even though it ended up being much more difficult than I anticipated at first.
For one, drawing with ink itself, especially with the dip pen is fun but I couldn't help but screw up the drawings from time to time - be it by lines or by ink splatter. And well, finding time for a whole finished drawing every single day was hard too - and considering that I also needed to figure out WHAT to draw in the first place, it has gotten tight during many days.
Sadly, the part I didn't like about Inktober is the fact that sometimes I felt like drawing with different media or something beside the prompts - alas, I knew that if I did that before inktober I wouldn't have the will or time to finish the inktober drawing, so I always prioritized those. This obviously have hindered my various studies, just training sketches and finished pieces (only 1 during whole month!). And of course I ain't the kind of guy to just back down from a challenge I took, so giving up completely was out of question.
All in all, I liked the challenge, but I think I will handle it differently next year, probably with more preparation - and I hope that I will be making more finished drawings from now on!
And since I'm on the topic of Inktober - I want to thank all of you that stuck around for it!
Looking forward to the coming months,
