Save 9667
#Save9667 is a campaign to prevent the scrapping of a 110-year-old Japanese National Railways (JNR) Class 9600 steam locomotive (No. 9667) in Takahagi City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Due to deteriorated condition and asbestos concerns, the city council planned to scrap it, but supporters are pushing for preservation via a petition.
Even if you’re not a rail enthusiast, this is about protecting cultural heritage for future generations. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
