Christina Portrait by soup-sammich Christina Portrait by soup-sammich
I was getting tired of the portrait that was automatically created when I made my Christina model.  I figured it was time for a more aesthetic image...

Well deserved.

She's a lovely character.

Not sure how much you want to pursue reality vs a cartoonish style, but you might want consider reducing the size of her irises if anatomical accuracy is important to you.  If it's a stylistic choice, don't worry!

Interestingly enough, I created her from the Daz model Bambi (who has HUGE irises) specifically for Overhead View :thumb531258842: where her eyes wouldn't be seen, so I didn't change them to a more accurate size.  I actually reduced them dramatically for this portrait!

As for reality v cartoonish, I like to reside somewhere in the middle.  I used to be fairly active on a game driven erotica forum where all the models were kind of a balance of cartoonish and realistic, and I really grew to like that style...  I'd actually like to go a little more cartoonish, but I haven't been able to find/create a more cartoonish model that I actually like...  :(

Right - all very true.  Another idea I had is that you might want to play around with the bump maps on her hair (even check if they loaded correctly) just to make her bangs in particular a bit less 'solid'.  Just trying to think of ideas.

A red haired character with blue eyes is something I really find striking.  For some reason my own ginger has green ones and I hadn't even considered blue....

Adding bump onto the hair is something I recall doing once or twice and promptly forgot about, thanks for the reminder!

Also, I'm not sure what renderer you're using, but in Carrara I can change the highlight color of the iris to a texture map.  In Christina's case, I use the green iris map for a highlight.  I think it really helps the blue color of her iris pop.

Agreed.  This image of her is so much better to load her model from than the previous default version...

Thank you!  She's one of my favorite models for those reasons!  Other models look creepy to me when they smile...

I don't know why all the others look creepy, but I'm glad she doesn't!
