This is cast #1/7, a special paint that finishes what I had envisioned the ember dancing lynx to look like. The paint job is loosely based off of an Iberian Lynx with exaggerated oranges, (because he's a fiery cat, of course). Also, the clear resin turned out better than I had hoped, the way the light reflects inside makes it a blast to light and photograph :D This particular cast has been spoken for.

And for a full turn-around and to see the glowing eyes effect: [link]

This is stunning. The pose is perfect, and the paint job wonderful.

Just wondering - does it really need that clear plastic for support?

Thank you!

The resin is fairly strong, but most of the weight is carried in the head/chest area, so I didn't want to risk him sinking over time (or if he was accidentally exposed to heat).

Seeing this in person was TRULY stunning! I was happy you sold it but sad to see it go, haha! think your exaggerated oranges worked out well, it's still naturalistic enough to not be eye-seering, but just exaggerated enough to be more eye catching.

This is really gorgeous. The fur sculpting is really well done, and the clear resin glowing effect you've got going on is really amazing and creative. Very fiery! Great work.
