So, well, I don't know if any of you know, but I am a flute player... a flautist. (I've always though of this as rhyming with 'floor'. I'm a flautist so watch out, I might floor you!) I recently failed my grade 6 exam
(I don't really need sympathy. I didn't practice enough, lol). But it has made me realise that I am going to have to work hard to achieve things. Luckily, this didn't hinder me too much. Two days ago, I played at my cousisn's wedding
I played 'Can You feel the Love Tonight' and 'My Heart Will Go On'. What can I say, I was great! Not to toot my own horn or anything (lol, couldn't if I tried. I play the flute!). People congradulated me and more importantly, the bride was happy!
And to top it all off, yesterday, I got a saxaphone. It's all MINE! My dad bought it for me because he loves me and he's awesome. My sax is black and gold and I've named him Orion. My flute is called Xena (like the Warrior Princess). I named him Orion after the hunter from Greek Mythology. Yeah, he got shot by Artemis, the woman he loved. Sad times. Now he's a constellation! That won't happend to my sax. Good thing he's insured. I am merely but a beginner. I only played the first time yesterday, but I am READY to learn.
Wish me luck!
