Hello all, Sorry that it's been so long since I've last updated. It's not that I haven't been working on art; I have, actually, more so than I was. I'm working on several tattoo designs, so it's not what I'm used to doing, but I'm really enjoying it. I'm moved into the new apartment and relatively set up. The dining room is my work space; I have a computer, drafting table and a shelf for stuff. It's still looking a bit bare but will gather stuff over time. My computer will serve as my blog/art site once I get the web server up and running. I *finally* got wireless working with Fedora 9, so the next step is to get the blog software running w

Nihao minna-san! So it turns out that the art class I signed up for wasn't quite what I expected it to be... I went for three classes and decided that I'd had enough, and I'm not going back. :( The first week was very promising; I learned how to sketch more accurately than I'd been doing before by using exploratory lines and the like. I also learned a bit about perspective through measuring with my pencil and cross-hatching. However, it seems the class deviated into a water-color thing. Last class I went to was just sitting outside sketching random stuff and giving it a quick black-ink wash... not fun at all. Actually, it was boring as hell,
