Laughter filled the warm spring air while leaves from tall trees glide lazily by. Kamishibas of all ages and types were spread out in a vast meadow filled with flowers that displayed all the colors of the rainbow. The kamishibas weren’t in the meadow to enjoy the sun but to help tiny toybis with their migration, most notably pixi toybis.

While all the commotion continued to rise, a certain blue and white lop idled by. The lop’s long tail swishing slowly around in on the ground while their blue eyes pierced through the shadows in which they laid in. The lop was impressed that he was around the other kamishibas, watching them be sickeningly joyful over such a meaningless event. He could care less honestly…. Though there was something that had tugged the male to watch them. He disliked the feeling. There was nothing important for him to do here so he should get up and leave, yet he couldn’t bring himself to do so. With a small growl under his nose, he continued to watch the irritating event.

Without any notice, his rear leg started twitching. Letting out another irritated snarl, the lop lifted his head to turn back and nibble out the itch that was bothering his leg. As he turned, he spotted something; a little toybi was sitting on his leg.

‘What the…’ The male thought, glaring deeply at the insightful little being.

“What are you doing on my leg?” He questioned, leaning closer toward his leg.

The little creature did nothing but look at him. The look of unknowing on its face enraged the male’s irritation even more. Baring his teeth, he let out a low and guttural snarl.

“I won’t ask again…. Now answer.” He growled.

The little toybi tilted its head before standing up on its little legs. Apparently to the little toybi, the large lop wasn’t in the least bit inditimating. He watched as the little creature used his own leg as a launch pad. The inferior creature landed directly onto a flower and began to eat the nectar like nothing had just happened.

“What an annoying little piece of…”

The lop stopped himself before he went any farther. There was no use in yelling at a tiny being like a pixi toybi.. His yelling was more useful on larger enemies, ones that he could fight with ease.

Laying his head down once again, the large lop couldn’t help but watch the tiny creature. He noted how it ate at the nectar out of the flower much like a bee would, using its tongue to lap up the honey. Snorting softly, his glaring gaze finally settled itself to a softer look. He wouldn’t go all cutesy and gush about the creature… just the thought about it made the lop want to puke. He couldn’t help that the creature was in a way interesting to watch at least.

“I will never understand how so many kamishbas enjoy watching you vial itty bitty things… but I will appreciate that you are smart.” He muttered under his breath.

So the lop and the toybi continued their day in the quiet of the shadows.
