Prompt 3: Two sides of the coin
Miraculously, Eiji caught up to Alex as they continued their race through the city.
Slowly but surely, they were getting used to the “new” normal. The changes in some of the residents were throwing everyone off but hopefully this will all pass.. At least that’s what a lot of them were thinking.
“We’re getting closer!” Alex yelled through her pants, her eyes glancing toward their target.
“Let’s not hit anyone as we run though!” Eiji yelled back, running closer to Alex in order to avoid another kami.
It felt like it had just been a few minutes though in reality, this whole situation has been going on for days. Eiji didn’t want to know what could happen next.. Maybe aliens like kamis would appear? Actually scratch that.. He knew that a certain mohawk lady would chase them around and ask all the questions..
Eiji’s running started to slow down in a jog before it slowed down even more into a trot. Finally he slowed himself enough so he could stop, panting heavily. His lungs

Prompt 2: The eyes deceived you
Nothing was making sense in the city.
Reports of all magnitudes kept showing up in letters or on the news. Kamishibas seemed to become opposite of themselves if they got inside of the sky bound cities; right handed when they were left handed or their attitudes flip. Strange stores appearing in the wrong places. Ever since the mysterious cities in the sky appeared, it felt as though everything turned upside down.
Golden eyes reflected back at a young male kamishiba as he glanced at one of the strange shops. The shop was covered with ice yet it didn’t seem to melt under the drastic rise in temperature within the city. The shop advertised cold treats such as ice cream and snow cones.
“What is going on with these sky cities? How or what is making them do this?” The young male murmured to himself as he continued to stare at his reflection.
He wasn’t in awe of his own looks by any means, more so he was stumped as to what was going on. His golden eyes scanned his own physique; from

Prompt 1: Sweating it out!
Sand covered the city.
One moment, the sky was cloudless; a cloudless baby blue colored blank space. That was perfect weather to be on an adventure around the city. That was taken away in what felt like mere seconds as a freak sand storm rolled through the town from creator knows where.
A sand storm seemed like something from a magician’s magic hat for a city that had no sand anywhere near it to begin with. Residents of the city poked their heads out from buildings or stands once the storm had subsided. One kamishiba in particular braved the sand covered city and walked out of his home. He could feel tiny grains of sand slip in between his toes as he walked around the partially buried city.
Wherever his golden eyes landed on, sand was there. Sand covered the city, creating multiple sand hills or mini unformed sand castles. It felt like the city had been dumped on by some sand monster or something.
‘What in the world? It was a beautiful summer’s day.. Where did that sandstorm

Nervousness, anger, fear, excitement, sadness, determination, uncertainty, and focus.
All of those emotions and more tumbled within the kamishibas from the present day as they stood together, eyeing the last set of runes. There were never going to be enough words that explained what they saw today; the past and the hardships.
They weren’t certain what kind of memory they’d be brought back to once the runes were solved. Would it be another sad memory or was there hope for these new and powerful creatures? The group wanted to know more yet they were terrified.
They went back. The same blinding light from the two previous visions engulfed them all once more. It brought them back to a scene of absolute carnage.
The ancient creatures were losing the battle against the lopdiemis… and the group could regrettably do nothing but watch.
They watched as the remaining creatures pulled together, releasing the mysterious aura with all their might, creating a rainbow colored barrier of
The vision had subsided after what felt like hours. In reality, it had been minutes for the group of kamis. The vision threw all of them for a loop; it was a strange magic that they couldn’t put a paw on.
The young kamishiba with the frost bytes knew that something had to be done though. There was a mystery on their paws and she was determined to figure out what it was.
“Hey, everyone, we need to keep looking around the jungle. Those runes that have been discovered might have answers to what the vision was about. We need to find out if there are more runes and look deeper into them.” She spoke up, glancing around at the other kamis.
“Ha, what makes you think that finding the runes will help us, little wolf? None of us could even read the runes.” One of the visitors asked, eyeing the small kamishiba.
The young kamishiba’s tail swayed side to side in a slow manor, her honey eyes never dared to stand down from the older kami’s own displeased gaze. She could feel her frost

Kami Event Prompt 1: The Fateful Day
The day had been any normal day; kamishibas of all ages and sizes were enjoying their own lives. Some explored and ventured out of their comfort zones while others stayed close to their homes, never daring themselves to go far away from their homes.
One such young kami had decided to be in the former group; she ventured out of her comfort to explore a new area. She had not gone alone though. She had her four trusted companions beside her; her frost bytes.
The young kamishiba and her frost bytes had found themselves at the Selvarian Jungle port after hearing news of recently discovered ruins. Of course the young kamishiba could not let the chance go; she wanted to read the ruins.
The four frost bytes stuck close to their friend; two on each side of her as the group converged deeper toward the ruins. The young female’s wing ears twitched as her warm honey colored eyes glanced over at a group of older kamishibas. From the excited chatter, the microphone by one of their mouths, and

A single breath released from a female figure as she sat on a porch. She watched the breath form on the air before disappearing within seconds. Her green eyes focused on the milky white moon that rose high about the sky, surrounded by stars that shone brighter than any gem on the land.
‘Oh brother, I hope you are alright. Please enjoy this new year celebration with some peace of mind.’ She thought.
Her eyes shifted down to her lap, noting the steaming mug full of tea between her hands. The warm tea penetrated down to her bones, warming her hands and fighting against the cold that threatened to take the heat from them. Next was the kimono fabric that rested around her legs. It was a jade green fabric with gold trim. Purple flowers dotted the whole kimono with small gold branches sprouting from them.
Despite being bundled up in a warm kimono, her feet felt different. She had decided to go barefoot for the time being. She had been wearing the wooden sandals majority of the day while she

Lop and a Toybi- Prompt 1
Laughter filled the warm spring air while leaves from tall trees glide lazily by. Kamishibas of all ages and types were spread out in a vast meadow filled with flowers that displayed all the colors of the rainbow. The kamishibas weren’t in the meadow to enjoy the sun but to help tiny toybis with their migration, most notably pixi toybis.
While all the commotion continued to rise, a certain blue and white lop idled by. The lop’s long tail swishing slowly around in on the ground while their blue eyes pierced through the shadows in which they laid in. The lop was impressed that he was around the other kamishibas, watching them be sickeningly joyful over such a meaningless event. He could care less honestly…. Though there was something that had tugged the male to watch them. He disliked the feeling. There was nothing important for him to do here so he should get up and leave, yet he couldn’t bring himself to do so. With a small growl under his nose, he continued to watch the irritating

“So you’re a ghost that lives here?” An annoyed Kiyoko questioned, blood red eyes glaring at the figure that cowered in a corner on the stairs.
“Y-y-y-y-yes….. I’m-m-m-m sorry for following you…. You promise you’re not gonna eat me?” A quivering child like voice questioned.
“She will not eat you. Kiyoko is intimidating, yes, but she would not harm a child. How old are you, if you don’t mind me asking?” Xuilan questioned, having joined the two after the incident.
“I’m technically 1300 years old but if I was alive, I would be 13 years old.” The figure replied.
Right after Kiyoko released her snarl on the thing that was following them, the figure had revealed themselves to be a kamishiba shaped ghost. They found out it was a ghost from the icy white transparency. Xuilan diffused the incident considering that the ghost was scared and Kiyoko was doing no use afterwards. Now the three stood together, trying to give the ghost some time to calm themselves down.

Halloween Prompt 2: The mansion and a ghost?
The girls had just arrived at the mansion, out of breath from all their running and excitement. Once the girls recovered their breaths from the running, they finally got a good sight at the mansion. The mansion was enormous and dark, giving off an ominous feeling. The dark woods of Dysania surrounded the mansion on all sides save for the path that the girls had run on. Before the girls could question how they entered the mansion, the giant entrance doors swung open, creaking with old age.
The fur along Kiyoko’s back rose at the sight of the doors opening on their own. Doors never opened on their own. Xuilan’s forest green eyes watched the doors intently, waiting for something or someone to announce themselves but nothing ever came.
“Why do I get a feeling that we’re in a horror story right now?” Kiyoko snarled lowly, wing ears pinning themselves down.
