These models are really amazing. :) I'm curious, do you plan to eventually model a "show accurate" locomotive and passenger cars? I know that'd be an enormous amount of work, but it would be really cool if you could do it.

Sounds interesting. It would be really cool to see an entire set modeling the Equestrian railway or something. With all the different towns and such in Equestria that the trains go through. Of course, that would be a very ambitious project. But it's be amazing. Good luck with it!

It become like part of bigger model railway system. I was make two 1200x600 mm modules, where Ponyville comes, they have identical bolt holes and railway connections. Them will put seriously like part of bigger system or alongside - then form with four 600x600 curved modules small autonomus Ponyville layout.

Actually i have 4 long modules, 2 for Ponyville and 2 for a realistic Estonian railway station Kiltsi. And also 4 corner modules. Rails and electric system are ready and system was working on Estonian model exhibition spring 2014. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cM6a-r…

With all that plate are too many work and i cant belive that i will make more MLP modules than that two ones.

I made a g-scale Friendship Express in a couple of days and an ON30 version in a little under a week. The trick is finding a base locomotive that can be cut-down like a Bachmann Big Hauler or something similar:

Nice job on those. They look pretty good! It'd be really cool to see a working model of the entire Equestrian railway, complete with show accurate locomotives and the canon towns that the train runs through.

(Actually i was make that boxcar in 1 day :D Only wheels buffers and couplers are from broken toys, all frame and springs etc is maked by myself)
