This time, we'll be looking at the evolution of Network Terminal Strike, featuring the Knuckles the Echidna from Sonic Forces.

Laying Down the Idea

I haven't done any Knuckles-focused work at all, so I figured it's time for him to take the spotlight. The main idea was for him to be shown in the middle of a striking punch.

If you haven't figured it out, for better or worse, I'm super greedy on details. So here is the rest of the background crew of Sonic Forces that would likely join Knuckles' forces. What could go wrong? Well, aside from maybe a super long drawing session...

First, the background was tackled. A lot of the stuff was inspired from Network Terminal. This part here is kinda around the tunnel that leads to the computer room.

All characters have had a final render pass. Some details have been added to give the impression of depth, such as the hexagon effects.
