Sonic in Mud by Tracy Yardley (Commission p4)

Sonic was a strong person no doubt about it, but getting his foot and sandal unstuck from this mud was going to require a lot of effort, maybe even more than he was expecting! And he may be wishing that Amy (or possibly Knuckles) was here to assist him in freeing himself from yet another mess he got himself into!

But anyways, Sonic kept yanking his foot out using the combined efforts of his leg and arms, and slowly but surely was making progress! Well, on his foot anyway, the sandal was unsurprisingly a bit more of challenge to get some movement out of! Plus, he was trying to free it using the swing of his leg, which meant that he was pulling his foot diagonally outwards! And his decision to do that will have some repercussions not too long from now!

With every super hard pull Sonic was closing his eyes (for whatever reason, maybe he thought it would enhance his strength or something Idk), and this continued into what he believed was the time for the final pull! And it went like most super hard pulls in cartoons go, Sonic pulls really hard for a bit, begins to feel a lot of resistance, and then starts pulling harder than before! However, Sonic’s foot had been loosened from the sandal over last few pulls, with the heel slipping out of the sometimes flimsy back strap, meaning that Sonic had to stop the rest of his foot from also slipping out by sliding his foot all the way forward and tightly grip onto the sole of the sandal before yanking!

But because Sonic thought this was last and easiest pull, he felt that he didn’t need to worry about doing it, despite the heel of his foot still being completely loose! Plus the toe post causes quite a bit of pain with it constantly being pushed against his skin, and before doing his last pull Sonic actually wished her was wearing a pair of flip flops for this particular occasion, as he could’ve easily just angled his stuck foot so it looked like he was on his tiptoes, grab both sides of his heel, lower the foot, point his toes up, and then pull as hard as he could! (Kinda making look like he was hurt foot hopping when I think about it.) But sadly the design of his sandals could not allow Sonic to do so, which for him was pretty unfortunate.

Oh and the fact that Sonic isn’t doing what he had been doing with his toes this time, you get a good idea of what is about to happen next!
