Well, just like Katie, here's Maya's team.

Quaquaval (Pavé): "This was my original partner when I entered Uva Academy. Yes, I have played a little Animal Crossing, and that's where his name came from!"

Paldean Tauros: Water Form: "It's amazing that Tauros around here are fighting types AND have three varieties! I was more than excited to catch this Tauros."

Gallade: "I found him as a Ralts in the field, glowing like a beacon! He had a Water Tera type! When I caught him, I knew I wanted to raise him to be his best!"

Medicham: "She's the only girl on my team, and it's nice to have a Pokémon that covers one of its own weaknesses!"

Finizen: "This little guy was so cute! He also helps in traversing larger bodies of water!"

Clauncher: "Sometimes, you need a little ranged defense, and he has me covered!"
