Yolopark Transformers One Cogged D-16

After getting the Yolopark AMK Series Transformers One Cogged B-127 model kit, I wasn’t sure if I would pick up any of the other Transformers One kits from Yolopark. I recently had a chance to check out their AMK Transformers One Cogged D-16 model kit, however, and thought that he actually looked pretty good, so I went ahead and got him. The box says “D-16/Megatron”, but the character in the box is D-16, as you can tell by his eye color and the way his fusion canon only has one barrel.

This model kit has about 25 pieces, so at most, it’s a 5-10 minute build, but the end result is a spectacular looking D-16 figure for you to display. Like all Yolopark kits, this is a non-transforming kit, making it really only appealing to folks like me who like the robot modes. You do get a few pairs of interchangeable hands, but it’s so hard to swap them out that I honestly just stick to the closed fists. One little detail that I really like on this kit is that they made sure to add his Megatronus Prime decal that Orion gave him to his shoulder. That’s a very nice little detail.

I honestly don’t have a lot of issues with this kit. It’s mostly pretty solid. What I don’t like is how hard the hands are trying to swap on. I don’t know if it’s just the one I got, or if all the D-16 kits are like that, but you have to apply a lot of force to get the hands onto the ball joint, which increases the likelihood of eventually breaking it. I plan to just keep the closed fists on mine full time.

All in all, this is definitely a really good looking model. Yolopark has definitely been impressing me with these Transformers models, and I can definitely see myself getting more in the future. I’m not too interested in the Orion Pax or Elita 1 Transformers One kits, but I probably will pick up Optimus once they release him. I would definitely recommend this model kit for fans of Transformers One or D-16.
