SD Tyrant Master Toutaku

‪This is the SD Tyrant Master Toutaku from SD Gundam Sangokuden Brave Battle Warriors. 🙂 Toutaku is the first real villain of the series, and is a ruthless tyrant who will stop at nothing to further his ambition‬. After slaying the previous emperor of the land of Mirisha, he plunged the land into a dark period of war. After betraying his mercenary, Ryofu, he was ultimately slain by Ryofu, who’s anger toward Toutaku overpowered Toutaku’s dark power and granted Ryofu the power of the Holy Seal and the Celestial Armor.

For an SD kit, this guy is a beast! Seriously, he’s almost twice the size of a regular SD kit! You don’t get many accessories with him, just the clear effect parts for the cannon attack, an open hand, and the Holy Seal. The articulation is what you would expect from an SD kit, with the added bonus of articulated elbows and knees. The Holy Seal comes molded out of black plastic, so you’re going to have to paint that gold, and I recommend forgoing the use of the gold sticker decals for Toutaku himself and using gold paint instead. Also, I recommend painting all of the bronze colored pieces gold, too, since they’re supposed to be that color. I chose not to paint the cannons on the shoulder armor simply because I thought those looked better in the bronze color they’re molded in. All in all, this is a pretty cool kit, and like any SD kit, it’s very easy to build. This kit only ran me $15 online, making him a moderately priced SD kit. If you’re a fan of the character, I say go ahead and pick this one up for your collection. 🙂
