RG 1/144 Crossbone Gundam X1

This is the Real Grade 1/144 Crossbone Gundam X1. 🙂 This kit is the newest addition to Bandai’s Real Grade Gunpla line, and is part of Bandai’s Gunpla Evolution Project. Now, as far as Real Grade kits go, this is a pretty good quality kit. It only actually makes use of two preassembled RG pieces. The rest of the inner frame you build from the feet up. In terms of difficulty, this actually isn’t a very difficult kit to assemble. Despite that, it’s still a really good quality kit. The color separation is just what you would expect out of a Real Grade kit, and you really need two of the sticker decals. The red marks on the head come with sticker decals, but if you have a steady hand, you paint those marks in. Unlike the High Grade version, the color separation on this kit is completely taken care of. There’s no need for any paint with this kit. I used paint for the red marks on the head, but that’s honestly all of the paintwork I did on this one. The articulation is pretty good, but the shoulders tend to limit to the outward moment of the arms. The construction is overall pretty solid, but there are a few loose pieces, like the pieces that cover the knees and forearms, that I recommend glueing, as they pop out easily. As far as accessories go, you get a lot with this kit! Included with this kit are one action case adapter, four different sets of hands, one Buster Gun, one Buster Gun barrel attachment, one Beam Zambar, one Beam Zambar Blade, one Anti Beam Coating Mantle, two beam sabers, two beam saber blades, two knife handles, two knife blades, two grappling claw chain pieces, one beam shield, two cross beam effect parts, and one Core Fighter. You also get optional pieces to add an eyepatch to the head. All in all, it’s a really cool kit with a very wide range of pose ability, and enough accessories to replicate almost any of your favorite poses from the anime. I highly recommend adding this kit to your Real Grade collection! 😊👍🏻
