P-Bandai HG 1/144 Marsfour Gundam DID Clear Ver

This is the P-Bandai exclusive HG 1/144 Marsfour Gundam [Dive Into Dimension Clear]! 🙂 This kit was made available for pre-order during the 2021 online Gunpla Expo, and while I unfortunately missed my chance to pre-order it then, I recently found the kit on eBay for a good price and snagged it. The Marafour has always been my favorite Core Gundam transformation because of it’s specialty for melee combat.

Right off the bat, I’m going to say that I absolutely LOVE this kit! Not only is it a clear variant, but it also has glitter mixed into the plastic that really makes this kit shine when the light is on it. 😄 And since it’s inside the plastic, you don’t need to worry about the glitter getting all over your hands when you handle the pieces. 😄
As far as the build goes, it’s mostly pretty solid, but I added a bit of glue to a few pieces for good measure. The articulation is what we’ve come to expect from the Core Gundam, though the range of movement in the arms is slightly hindered when combined with the Marsfour Unit. Being a freak about detail, I added a little bit of paint and panel lining to mine, but aside from the faceplate piece, you can really skip panel lining this one since the clear plastic makes it difficult to even see any panel lining unless you’re looking at it up close.
All in all, this is an awesome kit! Being a P-Bandai kit, hunting it down might be tricky, and you may wind up paying a little extra for it (I found this one on eBay for $40), but if you’re a fan of the Marsfour Gundam, it’s a must have! 🙂
