My Custom Zaku II Prototype

This is something I’ve been working on for a while now. It’s still not quite done, so I like to think of it as being the prototype stage. Anyway, this is my own custom Zaku II. Since I had an extra of the HG 1/144 Gundam Origins Zaku II, I decided to make a project out of it and turn it into what I imagine my own personal Zaku would look like if I were a character in a Gundam anime series. While still keeping some of the original green parts, black and red make up the majority of the color scheme of my custom Zaku. Some other custom touches include a commanders antenna, machine gun find arm guards from the Zaku II C-5 on each arm, the Zaku II C-5 cockpit piece, custom colored heat hawks, and a KF logo on the spiked shoulder and on the shield on the other shoulder.

I’m still adding touches of paint, as well as painting the other weapons, but this is what’s done so far. I know it’s not the best paintwork you guys have seen, but I actually like how it’s turning out.
