Metal Sonic

I recently watched the Sonic the Hedgehog OVA movie, and it made me want to draw Metal Sonic, who has been one of my favorite Sonic characters since I saw him for the first time. I never really knew too much about Metal Sonic, so I always thought he was just one of Robotnic's robots, but it turns out there's a lot more to Metal Sonic than I thought.
Metal Sonic was created by Dr. Robotnic for the purpose of destroying Sonic the Hedgehog once and for all. Using life data obtained by scanning Sonic, Robotnic was able to complete Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic is an almost exact copy of Sonic. It's as fast as Sonic, as strong as Sonic, it even has all of his thoughts and memories! In a sense, it's as if Metal Sonic and Sonic are identical twins. Despite Robotnic's plans for him, Metal Sonic proved to be more like the real Sonic than he had intended, ultimately sacrificing himself so Sonic and his friends could survive.

This is only my second time drawing Metal Sonic, but I'm happy with the overall result. I messed up on the hands and feet though. >.< Still, overall he looks pretty good in my opinion.
