Description

Finally got around to taking pictures of the Master Grade 1/100 Zaku II Bandai model that I got recently. :) This is the 2.0 version, and honestly, I'm loving this kit! :) It's a very well made kit, but one thing I wish they would do is make the tubes on the legs, body, and head easier to build. Other than that, I no real issues with this kit. If you've already built the Master Grade 1/100 Char's Zaku II (ver. 2.0), you'll see that this kit is built the exact same way. So if you were able to get through the Char one, you'll be able to build this one easily. It has all of the same cool gimmicks like the mechanized monoeye. He comes with all of the same weapons as the Char version, as well as a piece to let you place him on an action stand. The poseability is also the same. The arms rotate at the shoulder, the shoulder armor is on double polycaps, so it can be moved to accommodate just about any pose you want. The arms rotate at the bicep, and you get a complete double bend at the elbow. The hands are on balljoints, so they rotate, as well as move up, down, in, and out. There's no real rotation at the waist, but you do get a bit of forward and backward bending. The legs don't rotate too much, but they do move forward, backward, and outward. You get a full double bend and the knee, and the feet both pivot and swivel. Getting him to hold the gun and bazooka can be a major pain in the butt because they're supposed to peg into the palm of either hand, but the gun and bazooka both fall out of the hands pretty easily. The hands hold the axe perfectly, though. All in all, this is a pretty cool kit, and is an essential part of any Zeon army or collection. :)

Are the tubes flexible or are they hard plastic parts?
