Master Grade 1/100 Sengoku Astray Gundam

A lot has been happening this month, so it’s been pretty hard to get around To anything. Anyway, without further ado, I bring to you all the Master Grade 1/100 Sengoku Astray Gundam. 🙂 This mobile suit comes to us from the Build Fighters series, and is the Gunpla used by Nils Nielsen. Using the Gundam Astray Red Frame as the base build, Nils gave his Gunpla a traditional Japanese samurai look and feel to it. Even adding anti-beam coating onto the blades to allow them to easily cut through and deflect beam blasts. The Sengoku Astray Gundam has been one of my top favorite mobile suits from the Build Fighters series, and having it in a Master Grade size scale is awesome! In fact, when I was buying my first Master Grade kit, I almost chose this one. I’m honestly glad I didn’t, though, because while some of this kit has a High Grade feel to it, it has some very intricate engineering in the arms and legs that would have been too difficult for me to build as a beginner. Once you’ve had some experience building Master Grade kits, though, you should be able to assemble this kit without any problems. One tip I have when building this kit is to glue the crest part on the head in place. No joke, that piece pops out super easily, and the only way you’re going to be able to keep the piece from popping off is by gluing it. Other than that, add a little panel and some paint, and this kit will look fantastic in your collection! 🙂 Especially is you use a gold Gundam market to paint the gold colored pieces. For fans of the Build Fighters series and of the Sengoku Astray Gundam, this kit is a must have. 🙂
