Master Grade 1/100 RX-178 Gundam MkII Ver 2.0

The newest addition to my Master Grade collection the 1/100 RX-178 Gundam MkII Version 2.0. This kit took me a total of about five and a half hours, and it just looks awesome! This kit came out back in 2005, but don’t let it’s age fool you. It’s a really cool kit, and is definitely worth picking up! It also comes with a really cool display base made to look like a launch bay. While I wouldn’t quite recommend it for beginners, I do highly recommend picking it up if you find it. Its a very neat build, and looks fantastic all put together.

The reason that I don’t recommend this kit to builders getting their first Master Grade kit is because it incorporates a lot of the same frame construction as the Real Grade kits. If you’re a beginner and still really want this kit, I recommend building a couple of the Real Grade 1/144 scale Gunpla before moving on to this Master Grade kit. Also, there’s a soft material that you have to measure and cut to slip over some of the piping in the backs of the legs, and that part is a pain in the neck.
