MG 1/100 Sinanju

This is the Master Grade 1/100 Sinanju. 🙂 This was definitely one of the more challenging Master Grade kits I’ve worked on, but it was worth the time and effort that went into the build. This thing is just gorgeous! I only have one gripe with the kit, but it’s a bit of a big one. The hands make holding the weapons very difficult. This kit makes use of the 2.0 Master Grade style hands, so there’s a peg molded into the palm that’s supposed to peg into the weapons to make it easier to hold them. It seems to do the exact opposite, though. They can hold the weapons, but it takes several tries to get the weapons to peg into the hands securely. Other than that one problem, this kit is awesome! The hardest part of the build is applying the gold sticker decals. This kit has a lot of them! The bigger ones are fairly easy to apply, but the thinner ones can be a pain to align. You do get a sheet of water slide decals, so if you want to use those for the gold parts you can. The color separation is what you would expect from a Master Grade kit, but there are a few small parts you’ll need to paint. Namely the vulcan guns on the head and the vents on the fuel tanks. I also recommend gluing the thruster pieces on, as they fit on kind of loosely. Other than that, the build is pretty straightforward, and if you like Master Grade kits, you’ll really like this kit. 🙂
