MG 1/100 Gundam Amazing Red Warrior

Here he is, folks! The Master Grade 1/100 Gundam Amazing Red Warrior! This is the first Master Grade kit that I've gotten, and I have to say, I had a blast building it! 😊 It gave me a whole new kind of Gunpla building challenging, and I enjoyed every minute of it! 😃 Now, some of you may be asking yourselves just how long it took me to build, and the answer to that (yes, I actually timed it XD) is a whopping five hours and fifteen minutes! I opened it up and got started at 8:00pm, and finished at 1:15am. I seriously sat there working on it for five hours and fifteen minutes straight. You'd be amazed how much energy Vitamin Water gives you (thanks Vitamin Water!) XD. Yeah, I just sat there and worked on this bad boy while sipping orange Vitamin Water (the orange one of my favorite 😋) and listening to the TV. All in all, this wasn't as agonizingly difficult to build as I was afraid it might be. In fact, as someone who has an interest in engineering, I actually found myself fascinated by how well engineered the inner frame of the model is.
I have to say, Bandai hit the ball right out of the park on this one! Seriously, this thing is just beautifully designed! If you like the High Grade 1/144 Gundam Amazing Red Warrior, then this kit is a must have! Now, I should start by mentioning that it doesn't come with a display stand, so you'll have to buy that separately. It's sturdy and well balanced enough to be displayed without a display stand, but the display stand will let you display it in a lot more dynamic poses. Anyway, this kit includes all of the weapons that the High Grade 1/144 kit comes, plus a few cool new ones, too. You also get a LOT of articulation of this guy. Even the fingers are articulated! It also has a really cool gimmick where the missile launchers in the chest area come out when you push a pair of pegs in the backpack. It's cool, but getting the the plates that conceal the launchers to close up you retract the missile launchers is a real pain in the butt. Other than that one little gripe that I have, I can't say enough times how much I love this thing!
As far as whether or not I'll buy another Master Grade kit, it really depends. As you might guess, they're much more expensive than the High Grade kits, and take up a lot more space to display. I suppose it'll depend on the Gunpla. Because they had the Master Grade 1/100 Build Strike Gundam Full Package, and I may very well find myself buying that one in a couple of months. Money is going to be tight for me next month, so I probably won't be able to buy another Master Grade kit until June or July. We'll see, though.
