MG 1/100 Gouf

This is Master Grade 1/100 Gouf Bandai model model kit. I got this kit a couple of days after my birthday at a collectibles show, and it's pretty cool! This is the 2.0 version, and little the Master Grade 2.0 Zaku II and Char's Zaku II kits, this one has the automatic moving eye gimmick, which makes the eye move in whichever direction you turn the head. So need to keep popping off and reattaching the head just to move the eye like you would with the High Grade 1/144 version. In terms of weapons, he comes with a heat saber, a heat rod, a shield, and a vulcan hand. If for some reason you don't want to use the vulcan hand, this kit comes with the pieces to make a second regular hand that you can use in place of the vulcan one. Like a lot of Master Grade Zeon mobile suits, the tubes at a real pain in the butt to put on since you have to slide each segment on individually, which takes a while, and because the tubes have a tendency to pop out of place a lot. You can solve that problem by simply gluing the tubes into the sockets so they don't pop out. All in all, this wasn't too difficult of a kit to build. It took me five hours to get this guy all put together. It was a pretty fun to build kit, and is a good choice for builders who are new to Master Grade kits. It's also a great addition to any Zeon mobile suit collection. 😊
