HG 1/144 Zaku II F2

This is the High Grade 1/144 Zaku II F2 from the Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory series. 🙂 There are actually two versions of this kit. This one being the Zeon version, and the other being a differently colored E.F.S.F. version. The design of the Zaku II didn’t really change too much in Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory. Modifications have been made to arms, legs, and body, so it still retains the appearance of a Zaku II, but has been modified just enough to make the difference between this Zaku and past Zakus visible.
Anyone who has built or owns an older High Grade Zaku knows that they were known for their articulation. However, despite this kits poor are articulation, it actually ranks in as one of my favorite High Grade Zakus that I’ve bought and built. 🙂 I like the design, but more than that, I like how many different accessories that you get with it, as well how you choose from three different head types. You also get a lot of sticker decals to customize your Zaku however you like. 🙂 I really only used the 0 and 6 stickers to give mine here a it’s own number (I’m not sure what made me choose 06 🤔), and one of the Zeon emblem stickets. There isn’t a lot of painting involved this kit, but there are a couple of spots on the legs that need a bit of paint. Paintwork if pretty minimal on this one, with the largest piece in need of paint being the heat hawk. This is a very nice High Grade Zaku, and I highly recommend it for your Zeon forces or your Gunpla collection.
