HG 1/144 Zaku I Sniper Type [Yonem Kirks]

This is the High Grade 1/144 Zaku I Sniper Type. Me being a big fan of Zakus and Zeon mobile suits, just couldn’t resist this one. The build of this kit is a bit similar to some of the earlier High Grade 1/144 Zakus, with subtle differences. The army green and desert sand looking colors go very nicely together, and give this kit a very military kind of look to it. My only only gripes with this kit is that the monoeye doesn’t move, and that it’s shown being one color on the box, but is actually only partially that color. While the army green does look cool on this kit, I think that this kit would look a lot better if Bandai had just gone and molded the pieces in the right color. This isn’t a dealbreaker to me or anything, I really like this kit, I’m just saying. All in all, this is a really cool kit, and a nice step in a different direction from the usual Zakus. I guarantee that this mobile suit will stand out among your Zeon forces. So if you’re a fan of Zeon mobile suits, or you really dig the Zakus, I recommend picking this kit up for your collection.

Important Note: There are four tiny clip pieces that you have to use glue for. They don’t peg in, and the instructions will tell you that you have to use glue for those parts. However, they are not vital to the build, so you can choose not to use them.
