Description

Without further ado, I give you, the High Grade 1/144 Sinanju! 🙂 Perhaps one of the most beautifully done kits in the Gundam Unicorn series line of Bandai model kits, the High Grade Sinanju is a beautiful representation of the Sinanju piloted by Full Frontal in the Gundam Unicorn anime series. 🙂 Despite having less articulation, I would still actually recommend this one over the Real Grade 1/144 one. The Real Grade one is unable to support the weight of all the plastic because Bandai reused the innerframe from a previous Real Grade kit that was smaller and didn’t have so many parts. However, the High Grade one supports the weight very well, and unlike the Real Grade one, the backpack doesn’t weigh the upper body down or cause the kit to be difficult to balance.
In terms of building difficulty, assembling this kit isn’t difficult, but it is very time consuming. Building this one took me a little over four hours. Actually putting it together isn’t the hard thing about this one. The hard think about this one is applying all of the sticker decals. All of the gold parts on this kit art small, thin sticker decals. Applying those thin sticker decals was just a nightmare. It was worth all of the trouble, though, because that gold trim really pops and adds a really nice touch to this kit. 🙂
All in all, this kit is just plain gorgeous once you have it all put together. While I wish the arms and legs had better articulation, you have to keep in mind that this is a High Grade kit, so naturally you aren’t going to get the same range of articulation as you would out of say a Master Grade kit. This is a great kit, and will definitely provide a fun building challenge. You don’t really need to use glue, but I would recommend gluing the command antenna and all of the smaller hidden thrusters on the lower half of the body just so you don’t have risk those coming off and loosing them. I also recommend investing a in an action stand if you don’t already have one. But yeah, this kit makes a great centerpiece for your Neo Zeon Gunpla Collection, and will also look great alongside the High Grade 1/144 Unicorn Gundam (sold separately). I definitely recommend pickup one up if you come across it. :)
