HG 1/144 Saachezs AEU Enact Custom Agrissa Type

This is the High Grade 1/144 al-Saachez’s AEU Enact Custom Agrissa Type. Whoa! That’s a mouthful, huh? How about we just call The Enact? 😅 Because really, If you haven’t ever seen one of these before, they look just like this, except in a different color. Anyway, this is one of the most unique gunpla I’ve built. It’s design is just so different.  

The build of this kit is very interesting. You wouldn’t expect a lot like this to hold up well, but its actually quite solid despite the almost skeletal design. This is the first gunpla I’ve built that uses absolutely no polycaps. The balls and sockets are all solid plastic, which you wouldn’t think would work well, but it actually does. With the exception of the shoulder plates (which sometimes pop off), everything stays in place very well without being too tight to move.

As mentioned before, this is a transforming mobile suit. The Enact has a flight form that you can change it into quite easily. Granted, you can pretty much still tell its a mobile suit, even in flight mode, but it still looks neat in it’s flight mode. Plus, the transformation is very easy. You should only need to change it back and forth a few times before you get the hang of it. 

Honestly, I have very few problems with this kit. One thing that does annoy me is how obstructive the wings on this kit are, the wings, especially the ones on the legs, often get in the way of posing the arms. The only other thing I don’t like is that the plasma blade comes completely unpainted. Instead of the blade and hilt being separate pieces, this one is one long piece of red plastic. So in order to be able to tell that the blade is ignited is to paint it (which I did with mine).

All in all, despite its odd appearance, I really like this kit. It’s cool, and definitely something different in the way of mobile suits in my collection. This is one of those kits that’s great for beginners, but also fun to assemble for builder of all levels of skill.
