HG 1/144 Lauda Neil Dilanza

This is the High Grade 1/144 Dilanza. This mobile suit comes to us from Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch From Mercury, and was developed by Jeturk Heavy Machinery as a perfect balance between power output and durable armor. To compensate for its diminished mobility due to its large frame, it is equipped with high-output thrusters and hover units.

This is a really cool kit, I have to say! With the kit, you get the pieces to make either the Standard Type Dilanza or Lauda Neil’s Dilanza. I went with Lauda Neil’s because I just really dig the look of it, but it’s easy to swap the parts so you can switch it back and forth as you like.
What really surprises me about this kit is the level of articulation. Normally, these bulkier kits have very poor articulation. This one, however, has surprisingly good articulation! I’m actually very impressed with how they engineered this kit. It still suffers from the same poor articulation in the ankles that most bulky mobile suits do, but other than that, you can get this thing into some pretty awesome action poses.

All in all, I think this is a surprisingly well engineered kit, especially for what’s considered a grunt mobile suit. If you’re a fan of the Jeturk mobile suits, or you’re like me and you just enjoy picking up a cool looking kit for your collection, I highly recommend picking this one up.
