HG 1/144 Infinite Justice Gundam

This is the High Grade 1/144 Infinite Justice Gundam. 🙂 This mobile suit comes to us from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, and is piloted by Athrun Zala. Developed as the successor to the Justice Gundam, the Infinite Justice Gundam also incorporates technology from ZAFT's Second Stage Series, such as the Variable Phase Shift Armor. Adjustments were made to reflect Athrun Zala's combat data, practically making the Infinite Justice his dedicated mobile suit. The ∞ Justice's close combat capability is enhanced over its predecessor's and is armed with a number of unique weapons such as leg beam blades and a carrier beam shield that is a combination of a beam shield, a beam boomerang, and a grapple stinger.

The Infinite Justice Gundam is easily my favorite mobile suit to come out of Gundam SEED Destiny, so I had to have it in my collection. I dare say that this may be one of my top favorite High Grade kits that I’ve worked on. Bandai absolutely crushed it with this one! It features all of the cool gimmicks from the anime, and is engineered to be able to easily pull off any action pose you could think of. It also requires very little paint or panel lining.

This is another one of those kits that I had a really hard time trying to critique. It’s really well done. I suppose my main issue is that the backpack can sometimes get in the way while you’re posing the kit. Not so much obstructive, it’s just one more thing to fiddle around with, you know? I’m also not crazy about it needing its own special action base adapter (which is included in the kit).

All in all, this is such a great kit! They absolutely did this mobile suit Justice (you see what I did there? LOL), and it’s sure to please fans of Athrun and the Infinite Justice Gundam. Even if you’re just looking for something to build, I can’t recommend this kit enough. 😄
