HG 1/144 Gyan Revive

The HG 1/144 Gyan "Revive" that I ordered arrived the other day. I'm not too familiar with the background of the Gyan, but based on it's performance in Gundam Build Fighters, it's mainly a close combat type. It fights using a beam saber and a missile loaded shield.
The "Revive" is basically a term that Bandai uses for rereleased past models that they've upgraded. I think the original Gyan model kit came out sometime the early 90s, but I could be wrong. This one is the upgraded kit. It's the same Gyan that fans know and love, but the model has been reengineered to have more detail and better articulation than the original. I don't have the original one, but this rereleased version is still really nice. I definitely like it. If you're looking for a fun kit to build that looks good, this is a good pick. This kit is also a good one for beginners, or builders who are new to the High Grade kits.
